Alex Guyton graduated from Barton College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Being involved with music from an early age, he has spent over 10 years performing as a vocalist, bassist, and guitarist in different musical circles. His musical journey has followed him out of the state on multiple occasions, most notably to Chicago, where he befriended musicians and performed in multiple bands. 

Outside of Notasium, Alex continues to be active with music by playing and composing music for multiple bands in NC and Chicago, varying in genres from country to heavy metal.

Alex teaches guitar, ukulele, bass, and voice.
