Dominic’s passion for music began at age seven with classical piano lessons where he focused on learning various technical skills and fundamental music concepts. Throughout high school, he pursued music theory classes and began his love for composing.

Dominic furthered his music education at Cape Fear Community College where he graduated with an Associate in Fine Arts, concentrating on music. While there, he performed in numerous ensembles and small bands with many talented musicians. These days, Dominic continues composing music and enjoys working with other like minded musicians on projects.

As a teacher, Dominic wishes to instill the joy of playing music in others, strongly believing that music transcends cultural barriers and fosters deep connections. “There’s nothing like seeing someone’s face light up upon playing or hearing something that deeply resonates with them. I believe that even a basic understanding of music can be immensely useful in everyday life – especially if it’s just for having a good time!”
