Eli is studying Mechanical Engineering at NC State and has been playing piano since elementary school. His musical background is diverse, including extensive exposure to classical, jazz, blues, funk, rock, and punk. Eli particularly enjoys jazz and blues piano improvisation and enjoys teaching improv skills to students of all ages.
He has many years of experience performing music in both modern band settings as well as more traditional concert piano environments. Currently, he plays shows throughout the Triangle Area with his band BF Sparrow.
