Kristi Chilton

As a child, Kristi was steeped in the world classical and folk music and spent many years learning classical piano. As an adult, she began leading the children’s choir at her church and is still doing so today, 16 years later. Through music and movement, the group of 5-8 year-olds experiences the joy of music and the power of singing together.
Kristi currently leads a large group of acoustic instrumentalists and vocalists and also sings regularly in service. Some of her favorite performances were with her kids, both of whom took lessons at Notasium when they were younger.
Kristi believes that music is a universal language that can be enjoyed by anyone. She recognizes that every student has their own musical taste and learning style, and she will meet them where they are. Kristi loves to help students find their inner ear, learn to harmonize, come up with unique arrangements, and write their own songs.
Kristi teaches piano, ukulele and voice.
