Josh’s musical training began at an early age when he started piano at four years old and joined the church choir in kindergarten. In middle and high school, Josh attended Durham School of the Arts where he received training in multiple instruments, including clarinet, flute, bassoon, euphonium, marching baritone, violin, viola, and piano.

Josh has a broad appreciation for music across genres, with particular interest in R&B, classical, jazz, alternative, rock, punk rock, bluegrass, disco, and secular music.

Outside of music, he is pursuing a degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a clinical psychologist.

Josh teaches piano, violin, voice, flute, and clarinet.
