Lily was born and raised in the Triangle area, where she developed her skills as a musician. She began playing the violin at age four. Lily participated in many local music groups before college, including Lamar Stringfield, various regional orchestras, and the North Carolina Chamber Music Institute. Lily graduated from Duke University in 2023 with a B.A. in English. Following her graduation, she left NC to pursue other opportunities in the creative arts, including working as a journalist in Charleston and filming a Fulbright-funded documentary in Viña Del Mar, Chile. Now that she’s back in Raleigh, she’s excited to connect with local students and share her passion for music.
