Preston Clarke has been studying and playing music since he was 7, and began singing on stage when he was 5. He started with piano lessons, then moved to guitar lessons soon after that and became inspired by guitarists as various as Andres Segovia, Johnny Smith, and Eddie Van Halen. By middle school, he had picked up the bass guitar and drums and was playing in bands which he continued to do through high school, college and all his adult life as a professional singer, songwriter, and musician. His approach to teaching stems from a deep fascination with how music is made and its effect on the mind.
