With 30 years of teaching experience, Salomé (also goes by SaSa) loves finding ways to engage with her diverse groups of students. She is passionate about tailoring lesson material to fit various learning styles, ensuring that her students thrive in their personal and musical goals. SaSa believes that learning music is possible for anyone and places emphasis on her students becoming well-rounded musicians.

As a multifaceted artist, SaSa sings and accompanies herself with lutes and classical guitars in multilingual and innovative programs. She performs a wide range of music styles including Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and 20th century music. In addition to music, her performances often include elements of visual arts, dance, and theater.

SaSa holds a degree in Early Music Voice and Lute, as well as degrees in classical guitar from both Middle Tennessee State University and IUDEM in Venezuela, where she is originally from. She has performed in ensembles and choirs in both Venezuela and the US. As a teacher, she has given masterclasses in classical guitar in NY, MN, and Mexico. SaSa has collaborated on multiple CD recordings and even has two of her own! Recent collaborations include Raleigh Camerata, Boston Camerata, El Mundo and the Newberry Consort, as well as her own group El Fuego Early Music Ensemble.
