Quaranteam Parties!

Notasium is a great place to throw a party! Right now, you can reserve 2 hours in our play-space and cafe for just $100!

It begins with you arriving a few minutes before your scheduled time to answer some simple screening questions and to have your temperature taken. Everyone will have to have signed our play space and COVID agreements online and all participants except children under 2 will be required to wear a mask before entering.

You will have the run of the play space all to yourselves and the cafe to set up refreshments and cake for whenever you want to enjoy it.

For an additional $50, you and your guests can enjoy a 25-minute interactive musical activity after your hour in the play-space. This will be led by one of our masked Notasioneers and will get the kids (and adults) singing and dancing along to fun musical favorites.

Then, you’ll still have 30 minutes to enjoy your refreshments and cake in the cafe!

Build-your-own “Quaranteam” camp!

Due to the nature of our camps and facilities, we have decided to cancel our traditional camps for the remainder of the summer. However, we do have another option for you!

Introducing the build-your-own “Quaranteam” camp! If you can get together with friends that you know and feel comfortable interacting with, and the kids in your party total 5 or more, we can customize a week-long, half-day camp exclusively for your Quaranteam at $185 per child.

How it works:

  • Choose one of the following options:
    • Piano Camp
    • Ukulele Camp
    • Guitar Camp
    • Songwriting Camp (Ages 8 and up)
    • Music and Play Camp (variety of instruments)
  • Choose your 3-hour window
    • 9 am – 12 pm
    • 1 pm – 4 pm
  • Call or email us to schedule!

Things to know:

  • Notasium staff will spend approximately 30-minutes cleaning the play space and bathrooms after each camp session using EPA/CDC approved products known to kill Covid-19.
  • In Cary, only one bounce house will be open so we can clean everything within 30-minutes.
  • Adults will be asked to wear a mask while interacting with staff or other customers.
  • Notasium staff will be wearing masks at all times and will have undergone the same general health questions and temperature screening prior to opening.
  • There may be one other family in the building, but they will not be in the same room/area as the camp kids.
  • You will need to read and sign the COVID waiver available online in order for your child to participate

If you have any additional questions or are ready to book, just give us a call at 919-651-0029 or email us here.

Quaranteam Play!!!

Things to do with kids during covid shutdown.
Our first Quaranteam Play!!!

We have given a great deal of thought as to how and when we could start to re-open the play space in a safe way for our staff, our customers, and our community. We have decided to begin opening on a limited basis, starting with what we call Quaranteam Play – 1 exclusive hour of play in our play space for you and 1-2 families of your choosing for $60.

Call or email us to book play for today!

What exactly is a “Quaranteam?”

  • Members of the same household that have been staying away from everyone but each other
  • Members of 2 or more different households that have been staying away from everyone else except each other to the extent that they feel comfortable going to each other’s houses and letting their kids play together

How it works:

  • Read and sign the COVID waiver online
  • Register & pay online to reserve your 1-hour slot at least 12 hours ahead of time
  • Share the hour with 1-2 other families that you feel safe with as long as the group is a total of 9 people or less with at least 1 adult that can supervise the whole group.
  • Come to Notasium up to 5-minutes before your appointment time so that you can do the following BEFORE playing:
    • Have all adults in the party put on a mask or face covering before entering
    • Answer a few screening questions as suggested by the CDC
    • Have your temperature taken by our staff with a contactless digital infrared thermometer
  • Play for one hour – masks not required unless interacting within 6 feet of a Notasium staff member

Things to know:

  • Notasium staff will spend approximately 30-minutes cleaning the play space and bathrooms after each play session using EPA/CDC approved products known to kill Covid-19.
  • In Cary, only one bounce house will be open so we can clean everything within 30-minutes.
  • Adults will be encouraged to wear a mask while inside but will only be required to wear one if they need to interact with our staff
  • Notasium staff will be wearing masks at all times and will have undergone the same general health questions and temperature screening prior to opening.
  • In Cary, the family restroom will be the only restroom available
